Be glad for others’ success!
A few days ago, our sister church, Bible Union Fellowship Church, celebrated 50 years in existence. Reaching a golden milestone like that is no small feat—it represents five decades of steadfast faith, tireless ministry, and generations transformed by the Gospel. Being there to celebrate alongside them was a powerful reminder of how big the Kingdom of God truly is.
“Rejoice with those who rejoice.”Romans 12:15
In a world that constantly pushes comparison and competition, the scripture calls us to a higher standard. When another ministry flourishes, when another family thrives, or when a neighbor reaches a mountaintop, the body of Christ wins. Their breakthrough doesn't diminish ours; it testifies to God’s enduring faithfulness and reminds us of what He can do.
Let us be a congregation known for cheering the loudest for others. Let our hearts always have room to celebrate another's blessing with genuine gratitude, knowing that the same God working wonders down the street is at work right here among us.
